For all of you who watched the film Judas and the Black Messiah, and/or read “Women’s Love, Black Joy and Human Liberation, a Review of Judas and the Black Messiah” (https://alexandersjeunity.medium.com/womens-love-black-joy-human-liberation-64c7955cccf6), please read this review of the soundtrack of the film, “Nobody’s Savior: Jay-Z Can’t Be Our Messiah,” by LaTesha Harris.

In the words of one of our comrades, Aya De Leon, “This is the spot [the soundtrack] where Judas and the Black Messiah did all its compromising.”

Our comrade, Aya, goes on to promote this review by Latisha Harris with this introduction: “She’s critiquing how a SOCIALIST film has a CAPITALIST soundtrack.”

We ask you the reader: Is it possible for a film to be revolutionary while having a counter-revolutionary soundtrack?

All feedback is welcome.
